A young boy became stuck in a machine in an amusement arcade while attempting to win a toy in Titusville, Florida.
We’ve all been there. The frustration of playing the claw machine at the arcade or the movie theater only to never actually win a prize despite wasting many quarters trying.
A child in Florida eating dinner with his family at a restaurant decided that he wanted a stuffed animal so bad he climbed into the machine to get it. Once inside the machine, the boy, named Mason, had to be rescued by emergency responders in Titusville.
Mason was able to climb through an opening in the game that was just big enough for him.
Titusville Fire and Emergency Services wrote in a Facebook post that the boy was never in any distress while inside the machine. An off-duty lieutenant who was at the same restaurant assessed the situation and firefighters were quickly able to get the boy out with minimal damage to the game.
“We love a happy ending and are glad everything worked out,” Titusville Fire and Emergency Services wrote in the post. “Mom, Mason and friends went back to eating dinner, E10 back to their station to await your next call.”
Firefighters said they were pretty sure their next call would not be the same as their last.
