Meghan Markle with Craig Ferguson! A 2013 interview between Prince Harry’s soon to be wife and the host of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson has resurfaced that is raising a few eyebrows.
Former Suits star Meghan Markle was a guest on the show promoting her then-new TV series and, while it started out chatty, the interview then turned “creepy”, according to The UK’s Mirror.
Markle laughed off suggestive discussion of her “hairless body”, and was forced to try to desexualise a description of herself as a school girl.
Ferguson said she looked “sensational” when she arrived on the show, and went on to ask her where she was from.
Markle told him she was from Los Angeles, and joked for him to pinch her to check if she’s real.
When he did, an odd look came over his face. “I just wanted to do it again,” he said before she pushes his arm off.
“What a strangely hairless body you have.
“You’re quite the dolphin, aren’t you? You’re absolutely hair free. Are you a competitive swimmer?”
He then told the audience that swimmers “shave themselves entirely”.
Later on in the interview Markle was explaining that her father worked on the set of Married With Children.
She said she “grew up on the set every day after school for 10 years”.
“It’s a very perverse place for a little girl, who went to Catholic school no less, to grow up. I’m there in my school uniform, right…”
At which point Ferguson murmurs, “Ohhh, yeah…”
Markle laughs nervously, and Ferguson turns to the audience and says: “It’s a joke, it’s a joke!” Before adding: “Kind of a joke…”
When Markle was describing the women on set, Ferguson said: “They must have been interested in you walking around in your little school girl outfit.”
Markle tries to ‘desexualise’ her teenage self, saying, “Come on (I had) curly hair and a gap in my teeth”.
The video also resurfaced late last year when the relationship between the actress and the Prince first became public.
