Mylee Billingham murder – Brother Of SAS TV Star Mark Billingham Arrested On Suspicion Of Murdering His Eight-Year-Old Daughter.
Bill Billingham put a photo on Facebook about an hour before little Mylee died, showing her smiling as she ate pizza in bed.
The dad-of-five, whose brother Mark trains contestants on Channel 4 series SAS Who Dares Wins, emerged with stab wounds and was being treated in hospital under guard.
‘We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death,’ Det Insp Jim Colclough said.
Billingham, 54, uploaded the photo of Mylee smiling with a plate of pizza at 8.16pm on Saturday.
At 9.30pm, police arrived at his home in Brownhills, West Midlands, to find the young Ed Sheeran fan stabbed.
The girl’s mother Tracey Taundry, who lives at another property nearby, was found by neighbours outside her ex’s bungalow screaming ‘they stabbed my baby’.
Mylee was taken to hospital but could not be saved. Neighbour Graham Greatrex, 74, said: ‘We heard the commotion and the mother was standing outside our house. I offered her a warm drink because it was a bitterly cold night. She was in shock.’
A friend of Billingham’s said: ‘Him and Tracey were split but he completely doted on all five children. I used to drink with him in the pub and he seemed such a normal person.’
Relative Beth Taundry wrote on Facebook: ‘We are all broken. Please hold your families close.’
Another relative said: ‘We have hardly slept and are just trying to understand and process what has happened. We still don’t know exactly what took place and we are truly devastated.’
Mr Colclough, of West Midlands Police, said: ‘Our family liaison team are supporting the family of the little girl, who are naturally devastated.’
Billingham was said to be in a stable condition in hospital after sustaining stomach wounds.
Just before Christmas, he uploaded a picture to Facebook of him and his SAS hero brother smiling as they enjoyed a drink together.
Mark served 27 years in the SAS and won the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery after using himself as bait to catch an IRA sniper.
He later became a bodyguard to stars, such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, before signing up to put TV volunteers through the SAS selection process.
