Wisconsin woman rides bike in drawbridge, falls into crack.
Recently released video shows the moment a bicyclist fell into a gap as she attempted to cross a Wisconsin bridge.
The video was captured by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation surveillance cameras along the Racine Street Bridge.
At the start of the video, the 37-year-old woman is seen riding her bike along the bridge despite warning gates blocking her path.
She’s seen hitting one of the gates before swerving and falling into the gap of the bridge, which had opened to allow boat traffic to pass.
Police said the bridge operator was alerted to the incident and made sure the bridge stayed open until help arrived.
The woman was rushed to a local hospital after being pulled out of the gap by several Good Samaritans in the area.
Around eight people are seen in the video either helping the woman or calling for help.
Authorities said the woman, who has not been identified, was treated for facial injuries.
The incident occurred on the Fourth of July around 10.30pm shortly after the fireworks in Menasha.
