Spotted Pig chef pops up in historical Connecticut hotel

April Bloomfield is returning to her roots in the countryside.

The acclaimed British chef is now chef-in-residence at the historical Mayflower Inn & Spa in Connecticut through this year’s holiday season.

Bloomfield, who put places like the Spotted Pig, The Breslin, Tosca, and The John Dory on the map with her celebrated culinary creations, said:  “I have been drawn to the country ever since I was little, and I find the beautiful and elegant grounds at The Mayflower Inn & Spa so inspiring….
